Paper Prints:
I have a Cannon PIXMA-100 printer in my office and use Canon printing papers (luster or mat). This printer is capable of producing borderless, gallery quality, landscape prints up to nineteen inches wide by thirteen inches high. However, I usually print an image eighteen inches wide by twelve inches high centered on the paper leaving a half inch border on each edge. I use the lower border to hand-sign and title my prints. Note that a print eighteen inches wide by twelve inches high corresponds to a 3:2 aspect ratio and this would be the largest landscape print that I can produce myself.
Some landscape images look better when presented in a 3:1 or a 2:1 aspect ratio. In these cases, the maximum image size that I can produce would be eighteen inches wide by six inches high or eighteen inches wide by nine inches high respectively. Again, there would be a half inch border on each edge, and I would use the lower border to hand sign and title the print.
Finally, for a 1:1 aspect ratio (square format) the largest image size that I can produce would be twelve inches wide by twelve inches high. Again, there would be a half inch border on each edge, and I would use the lower border to hand sign and title the print.
If your requirement is for a print larger than what is described above, then I would send the image file to an outside printer. I would require them to send the finished print back to me where I could verify it is of the highest quality before I hand sign and title it. I would apply a mark up to what the outside printer charges me for the print.
Each print would be shipped to you in a transparent, archival quality sleeve and be packaged so as to prevent damage during shipment. Shipping and packaging costs will be applied separately.
Matted Paper Prints:
I can also supply prints presented on archival quality rag mats and backboards. The mat opening would allow titling and signature to show. For the prints I produce I recommend mat and backboard sizing for a frame opening of twenty-four inches wide by eighteen inches high.
Metal or Canvas Prints:
There is a local printer (https://www.canvasandmetalprints.com) that I currently use to produce these kinds of prints. You would send me your size requirements and I would create a file to send to them. They would send the finished product directly to you. I could add text to the image file for titling and an image of my signature if you so desire. I would apply a mark up to what they would charge me for printing and mounting the image. I would pass their shipping and handling charge directly through to you.
