Self portrait, Florida tan and all

From the moment I picked up a Pentax film camera in college, photography has been my window to the world and my way of capturing its fleeting beauty. My journey, from darkroom experimentation with Tri-X film to embracing the precision of digital with my Nikon D850, has spanned decades of learning, evolving, and rediscovering.
Retirement brought the gift of time to return to my original love, photography, allowing me to immerse myself in the art that connects me most deeply to the serenity and wonder of our planet. Through landscapes—vast, tranquil, and majestic—I aim to transport viewers to places where beauty whispers and calm prevails.
My work is a visual dialogue between nature and the observer, inviting reflection and connection. With focal lengths ranging from 14 to 500 millimeters, each photograph is a meticulously crafted journey to inspire appreciation for the world’s untouched grace. From the rugged coastlines of Iceland to the serene landscapes of Florida, I strive to capture not just scenes but the soul of a place.
